Yara Rodrigues Fowler is a novelist from South London. She is also a trustee of Latin American Women's Aid, an organisation that runs the only two refuges in Europe for and by Latin American Women. Her debut novel Stubborn Archivist was shortlisted for the Sunday Times Young Writer of the Year Award and is now out in paperback.

Madeline Miller has a BA and MA from Brown University in Latin and Ancient Greek, and has been teaching both for over a decade. She has also studied at the Yale School of Drama, specialising in adapting classical tales to a modern audience. Her first novel The Song of Achilles was the winner of the Orange Prize for Fiction 2012. Her latest novel is Circe.
