Celebrating the best new books that engage with some aspect of medicine, health or illness, the Wellcome Book Prize 2015 shortlist showcases the breadth and depth of our encounters with medicine through six exceptional works of fiction and non-fiction.Join four of the shortlisted authors as they discuss the creative process behind their critically acclaimed books while exploring the broader context of medicine and literature: Marion Coutts, author of The IcebergHenry Marsh, author of Do No HarmSarah Moss, author of Bodies of Light and Miriam Toews, author of All My Puny SorrowsAcclaimed writer, journalist and socialist, Anne Karpf, will facilitate the session.

Since it began in 2009, The Wellcome Book prize shortlist has been showcasing the best fiction and non-fiction that covers or captures our relationship with medicine, health or illness. This year, Little Atoms are very pleased to be the podcast partners for the prize and will be featuring a series of interviews with the shortlisted authors, the first of which went up this week where we spoke to Sarah Moss, Miriam Toews and Scott Stosser about their entries.
