Why is this Tory MP's tweet different from all other tweets?

Mike Freer is Conservative MP for Golders Green, the heart of Britain's Jewish community. So on Sunday, naturally, he sent a tweet out to mark the start of Channukah.

"Channukah starts this evening", wrote Freer, "Wishing everyone a joyous new year." And what could possibly be wrong with that? Well nothing apart from the fact that Channukah is not actually the Jewish new year. That's Rosh Hashanah, which fell in mid-September this year. Channukah, as any fule kno, is the Festival of Lights.
