Turkmenistan's dictator is really good at Photoshop

In the heart of the Karakum Desert, and one of the world's most secretive and autocratic regimes, lies a trove of propaganda.

According to the official Turkmenistan website, the museum's walls are decorated with marble and house over 40,000 artefacts.

Our man on the ground decided to see what it’s like for themselves and sent back these images of President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov demonstrating his many talents and abilities.

Here is President Berdymukhamedov on a horse

And with some camels, who respect him

And some lambs, who are not at all freaked out by his hat

With some delicious fruit

Here he is on another  horse

We see a theme emerging

Here he is looking very serious in some kind of factory

Fighting a child

This time he's picking cotton in an apron. He's definitely in the cotton field. Not photoshopped in anyway

Hanging out with some garment workers. Again this picture does not look doctored, in anyway whatsoever

Cooking outside his luxury yurt. With horse and puppies. The sheep are quietly attempting their escape

Now he's inside the yurt, either sleeping or reading. Or maybe both?

Embracing an old woman

Keeping fit

Here he is listening intensely

\

Addressing the nation in front of  a backdrop of kitchen lino

We're not sure what's going on here but it looks important

The piece de resistance - standing in front of a picture of a boat looking out to sea. Or possibly in to land

If you want to find out anymore about President Berdymukhamedov, there's plenty of reading material in the book shop

Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov: crazy name, crazy guy!

In the particle of me that cares for this, I betrayed those little atoms with a kiss
